Amira Cheniour is a Tunisian entrepreneur and engineer specialising in agritech and artificial intelligence applied to agriculture. As co-founder and managing director of Seabex, she develops innovative smart irrigation management solutions that enable farmers to optimise their use of water, fertilisers and energy in the face of the challenges posed by climate change. With over ten years’ experience in the technology and innovation sectors, she is recognised as one of the leading figures in the digital transformation of agriculture in Africa. The recipient of several international awards, she also contributes to policies aimed at digitising the agricultural value chain in Tunisia.
