A technology enthusiast, writer and researcher, she is a MANRS and Mozilla fellow. She works on a project entitled «Integrating the gender dimension into AI: a perspective from French- and English-speaking East Africa», which aims to explore the inclusion of gender in AI across the countries identified within the East African Community.

An economist with over 10 years’ professional experience in leading and contributing to economic research projects on the Global South, she works on a project entitled: «Responsible AI for Gender Equality in the Circular Economy in Africa», which aims to explore the use of AI to reduce food waste at various stages of South Africa’s food supply chains.
